My name is Rick Weaver and I run R Weaver FX Hand Built Guitar Pedals in Yonkers, New York just 12 miles north of New York City in the USA. Every pedal that leaves my shop is handcrafted with passion, precision and fine tuned for big tone.
I’ve been playing guitar since I was around 12 years old and always wanted to know more about the equipment I came across and acquired and how it worked. I hit the ground running early by taking things apart and learning electrical theory and component workings and measurements, and all of the inner workings and construction of guitars, pedals and amplifiers during my younger years so that I could maintain my own equipment. My father was quite handy in all things mechanical and electrical and taught me quite a bit as well. That led to repairing and modifying things for friends and eventually to working in a local studio repairing all types of gear and making a few one off pedals for players that saw things I had made for myself at gigs with my bands and loving the tones.
Fast forward a few years to 2019 and I decided to create this awesome brand that I take tremendous pride in. I have the utmost respect for all players at any level and strive to bring great tone and customer service to everyone.
